 Save It
   Save It  A playful, grown-up dessert drink combining creamy peanut butter, smooth bourbon, fizzy cola, and vanilla ice cream for a rich, indulgent treat.
I first tried this float at a summer gathering, and it quickly became my favorite treat to serve guests who love both dessert and bourbon. The blend of creamy peanut butter and fizzy cola is unexpectedly delicious!
Ingredients
- Ice Cream: 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Spirits: 2 oz (60 ml) bourbon
- Spirits: 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- Soda: 12 oz (355 ml) cola, chilled
- Garnish (optional): Whipped cream
- Garnish (optional): Chopped roasted peanuts
- Garnish (optional): Chocolate syrup
Instructions
- Whisk peanut butter and bourbon:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the peanut butter and bourbon until smooth and fully combined.
- Prepare glasses:
- Divide the vanilla ice cream between two tall glasses.
- Add bourbon mixture:
- Pour the bourbon-peanut butter mixture evenly over the ice cream in each glass.
- Add cola:
- Slowly top each glass with chilled cola, allowing the foam to settle as you pour.
- Garnish:
- Garnish with whipped cream, chopped peanuts, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup if desired.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately with a straw and long spoon.
