Mummy Rice Krispie Treats (Printable Version)

Crispy marshmallow bars become mummies with white chocolate and candy eyes for a fun, spooky Halloween snack.

# What You'll Need:

→ Rice Krispie Treat Base

01 - 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
02 - 4 cups mini marshmallows
03 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Decoration

04 - 2 cups white chocolate chips or white candy melts
05 - 32 candy eyes

# Directions:

01 - Line a 9 by 13 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
02 - In a large saucepan over low heat, melt unsalted butter. Add mini marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until fully melted and mixture is smooth.
03 - Remove the saucepan from heat. Immediately fold Rice Krispies cereal into the marshmallow mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
04 - Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared baking pan. Allow to cool for 30 minutes at room temperature.
05 - Once completely set, lift the block out of the pan and cut evenly into 16 rectangles.
06 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until smooth.
07 - Dip the top of each treat into the melted white chocolate or drizzle chocolate over the surface to resemble mummy bandages.
08 - Place two candy eyes onto each treat before the chocolate sets.
09 - Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature before arranging for serving.
