06 - 2 tbsp soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)
07 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1 tbsp unsalted butter
09 - 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
→ Roasted Vegetables
10 - 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
11 - 1 zucchini, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
12 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
13 - 1 small red onion, cut into wedges
14 - 2 tbsp olive oil
15 - 1/2 tsp dried Italian herbs
16 - Salt and pepper, to taste
# Directions:
01 - Set oven temperature to 425°F.
02 - Arrange bell pepper, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and red onion on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper, then toss to evenly coat.
03 - Roast vegetables in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until tender and caramelized.
04 - While vegetables roast, season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
05 - Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear 1 to 2 minutes per side until browned but medium-rare. Remove and set aside.
06 - Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and chili flakes, simmering for 1 to 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
07 - Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the sauce for 1 to 2 minutes to coat thoroughly.
08 - Plate honey garlic steak bites alongside the roasted vegetables and serve warm.
