# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It tastes like a $15 café sandwich but costs a fraction and takes less time than delivery.
  • The combo of salty prosciutto and sweet fig jam is so balanced it feels like cheating.
  • You only need one pan and about ten minutes, so cleanup is a joke.
  • It works as lunch, dinner, or that fancy snack you make when someone drops by unexpectedly.
02 -
  • If your bread is too thick, the cheese won't melt before the outside burns, slice it thinner or press longer at lower heat.
  • Don't skimp on the butter, a light coating won't crisp the bread properly and you'll end up with sad, pale toast.
  • Let the sandwich rest for 30 seconds after cooking so the cheese sets slightly and doesn't slide out when you bite.
03 -
  • Add a handful of fresh arugula right before closing the sandwich for a peppery bite that cuts the richness.
  • If your fig jam is too sweet, mix in a tiny pinch of salt or a drop of balsamic vinegar to balance it out.
  • Toast the prosciutto separately in the skillet for 30 seconds before building the sandwich, it gets crispy and adds a whole new texture.
