# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • They're dense and chewy in the way that makes you feel satisfied, not like you're eating something virtuous out of obligation.
  • No fancy equipment or ingredients needed, just things you probably already have in your kitchen.
  • They stay soft for days in a container, making them perfect for those mornings when you oversleep.
02 -
  • Don't skip the 5-minute rest on the baking sheet, it's the difference between cookies that hold together and ones that crumble.
  • The bananas really do need to be ripe and soft, green ones won't give you enough sweetness or the tender crumb you're looking for.
03 -
  • Make a double batch and freeze half the dough to bake whenever you want fresh cookies without the work.
  • If your cookies spread too much, your bananas were too wet, so mash them well and let them sit in the bowl while you prep everything else.
