- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and fine sea salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar together with an electric mixer or whisk until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in ricotta cheese and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.
- Add half of the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir gently. Mix in whole milk, then add the remaining dry mixture. Stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
- In a small bowl, mix together chopped pecans, packed light brown sugar, all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, and melted butter until a crumbly streusel forms.
- Spread half of the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half the pecan streusel over the batter. Repeat layering with remaining batter and streusel.
- Bake in the center of the oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let stand in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
