Pear Ginger Sorbet Cups (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ For the Pears

01 - 4 ripe but firm pears

→ For the Sorbet

02 - 3 ripe pears, scooped
03 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1/4 cup water
05 - 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
06 - Juice of 1/2 lemon

# Directions:

01 - Slice the tops from the pears, then carefully scoop out the flesh, reserving for the sorbet. Place the empty pear shells in the freezer to chill.
02 - Combine sugar, water, and grated ginger in a small saucepan. Heat gently, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture becomes a light syrup. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
03 - Add the scooped pear flesh, cooled ginger syrup, and lemon juice to a blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth.
04 - Pour the blended mixture into an ice cream maker and churn until set. Spoon the churned sorbet into the frozen pear shells, filling them generously.
05 - Place the filled pears in the freezer for 3 to 4 hours, or until the sorbet is firm. Serve immediately after removing from the freezer.
