# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It takes ten minutes to assemble but tastes like you spent way more effort than you actually did.
  • You can customize it however you want—swap berries, add different nuts, play with toppings without breaking anything.
  • Freezing it solid means you've got grab-and-go breakfasts ready for when mornings get chaotic.
02 -
  • If your yogurt mixture is too runny, your bark will never freeze properly and you'll end up with something closer to a popsicle than bark—use full-fat Greek yogurt if you're having this problem.
  • Freezing it straight and hard is everything; don't skip the full three hours or you'll be disappointed by the texture.
  • Eat it straight from the freezer because letting it sit at room temperature even for a few minutes makes it go from crunchy to sad and mushy.
03 -
  • Invest two seconds in pressing your toppings down with a spoon—this is the difference between bark that holds together and bark that sheds seeds everywhere.
  • Use the most flavorful berries you can find because freezing actually intensifies their taste, so mediocre berries stay mediocre but great berries become even better.
  • Make a double batch and keep it in the back of your freezer; future you will be grateful almost every morning for the next two weeks.
