# What You'll Need:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - 1 1/4 cups whole milk
07 - 2 large eggs
08 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ For Cooking & Decoration

10 - Vegetable oil or extra butter for greasing
11 - 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for stenciling
12 - Small chocolate chips or mini chocolate candies (optional, for decoration)

# Directions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly blended.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk the whole milk, eggs, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
03 - Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Gently stir just until the batter comes together; avoid overmixing—some lumps are acceptable.
04 - Preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface with vegetable oil or butter.
05 - Ladle approximately 1/4 cup of batter per pancake onto the hot pan. Using the back of a spoon, carefully form ghost shapes by creating a wider top and a tapered or wavy base.
06 - Allow pancakes to cook until bubbles rise to the surface and the edges appear set, about 2 to 3 minutes. Flip each pancake and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until golden and cooked throughout.
07 - Transfer finished pancakes to a plate. Continue with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as necessary between batches.
08 - Place a ghost-shaped stencil over each pancake. Sift powdered sugar over the stencil using a fine-mesh sieve or sifter, then gently lift the stencil to reveal the design.
09 - Optionally, press small chocolate chips or mini chocolate candies onto each pancake to create eyes and a mouth. Serve immediately.
