01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with minced garlic, salt, and pepper until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer gently for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, and egg. Stir until thoroughly blended.
03 - Spread a layer of beef sauce on the bottom of a freezer-safe 9x13-inch baking dish. Arrange a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spoon over a layer of ricotta mixture, then scatter shredded mozzarella. Repeat layering with remaining components, finishing with mozzarella on top.
04 - Cover the dish tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil or a tight-fitting lid. Freeze until ready to bake.
05 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the frozen lasagna, covered, for 50-60 minutes. Remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is golden and lasagna is heated through.
