01 - 4 slices sourdough or white sandwich bread
02 - 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
→ Seasoning
04 - 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
# Directions:
01 - Lay out the bread slices and spread a thin, even layer of softened butter on one side of each slice.
02 - Sprinkle the buttered side of each slice generously with everything bagel seasoning, pressing gently to ensure it adheres.
03 - Flip two slices so the unseasoned sides face up and layer 2 slices of cheese on each; then top with the remaining bread slices, seasoned side out.
04 - Place a large nonstick skillet over medium heat to warm.
05 - Cook sandwiches in the skillet for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until the bread is golden brown and crisp and the cheese has melted.
06 - Remove from the skillet, allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve.
