Crispy Breakfast Wrap Folded (Printable Version)

Golden crispy wrap filled with eggs, cheese, bacon, and veggies, pan-fried to perfection for a handheld morning treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Tortillas

01 - 2 large (10-inch) flour tortillas

→ Eggs

02 - 2 large eggs
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Fillings

05 - 2 slices cooked bacon or turkey bacon
06 - ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
07 - ½ avocado, sliced
08 - ½ cup chopped baby spinach
09 - ¼ cup diced tomatoes

→ Optional Sauces

10 - 2 tablespoons salsa or hot sauce

→ Cooking fats

11 - 1 tablespoon butter or neutral oil

# Directions:

01 - Beat eggs with salt and pepper; scramble in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until just set. Remove from heat.
02 - Place a tortilla flat on a cutting board and cut from the center outward to the edge, dividing it into four sections.
03 - Place scrambled eggs in the first section, bacon in the second, cheese in the third, and spinach, tomato, and avocado in the fourth.
04 - Drizzle salsa or hot sauce over preferred sections, if desired.
05 - Starting at the cut edge, fold the tortilla over itself quarter by quarter to form a layered triangle.
06 - Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the folded wrap seam-side down and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and crisp, pressing gently.
07 - Slice the wrap in half and serve immediately while warm.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • Ready in 20 minutes, but tastes like you spent way more time on it.
  • Everything stays contained in a handheld package—no scrambled eggs falling onto your shirt.
  • The crispy exterior contrasts perfectly with soft, custardy eggs and melted cheese inside.
02 -
  • Wet fillings (like fresh tomatoes or sauces) will make your wrap soggy—pat vegetables dry and go light on liquids.
  • The tortilla absolutely must be folded tightly with no gaps, or it'll unfold and your fillings will scatter in the pan.
03 -
  • Prep your fillings the night before and store them separately—assembly takes two minutes, and breakfast feels effortless.
  • If you're cooking for two, make them back-to-back rather than trying to cook both simultaneously; it's easier to keep them both hot and evenly crisp.
