Juicy strawberries coated in dark chocolate and garnished with nuts or coconut for an elegant bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit

01 - 24 large fresh strawberries, hulled

→ Chocolate

02 - 7 oz dark chocolate (60–70% cocoa), chopped
03 - 1 tsp coconut oil or neutral vegetable oil

→ Garnishes (optional)

04 - 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
05 - 2 tbsp shredded coconut
06 - 2 tbsp white chocolate, melted (for drizzling)

# Directions:

01 - Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Hull if necessary.
02 - Thread 3 strawberries onto each skewer and set aside.
03 - In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil over simmering water, stirring until smooth; alternatively, microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between.
04 - Line a tray with parchment paper.
05 - Hold each skewer and dip strawberries partially or fully into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
06 - Place skewers on the prepared tray. While chocolate is wet, sprinkle with chopped pistachios or shredded coconut, if desired.
07 - Drizzle melted white chocolate over dipped strawberries for decoration.
08 - Refrigerate skewers for 15 minutes until chocolate is firm. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • They look like you spent an hour, but theyre done in twenty minutes start to finish.
  • Three berries per stick means no messy fingers and every bite has that perfect chocolate-to-fruit ratio.
  • You can dress them up with nuts or coconut or keep them simple—they shine either way.
02 -
  • If your strawberries arent completely dry, the chocolate will slide off in patches and youll end up with a mess instead of a smooth coat.
  • Dont overheat the chocolate or itll seize up and turn grainy—keep the water at a gentle simmer and stir constantly.
  • If youre making these ahead, keep them in the fridge until just before serving so the chocolate stays firm and shiny.
03 -
  • If the chocolate gets too thick while youre dipping, warm it gently again or add a few drops of oil to loosen it back up.
  • Use skewers that are flat or have a slight twist—they grip the berries better and dont spin when you dip them.
  • For a cleaner finish, wipe the bottom of each skewer on the edge of the bowl before you set it down so you dont get a chocolate puddle.
