Caesar Chicken Salad Wrap (Printable Version)

A handheld wrap filled with grilled chicken, crisp romaine, parmesan, and creamy Caesar dressing.

# What You'll Need:

→ For the Chicken

01 - 2 medium boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

→ For the Caesar Salad

06 - 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
07 - 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
08 - 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
09 - 1 cup croutons

→ To Assemble

10 - 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
11 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Directions:

01 - Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season evenly with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
02 - Cook chicken breasts on the grill for 5 to 7 minutes per side, until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Slice thinly.
03 - In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, grated parmesan, and croutons. Toss gently until ingredients are evenly coated.
04 - Lay tortillas flat and evenly distribute the Caesar salad mixture down the center of each. Top with sliced grilled chicken.
05 - Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, then roll tightly to enclose the filling completely.
06 - Slice wraps in half if desired and serve immediately, seasoning with freshly ground black pepper to taste.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It tastes like a Caesar salad but holds together like a handheld meal, no fork required.
  • The warm grilled chicken against cool crisp lettuce creates this perfect textural contrast that keeps things interesting.
  • You can have everything ready in less time than it takes to order delivery.
02 -
  • Don't skip the five-minute rest after grilling—it's the difference between juicy chicken and dry chicken, and those few minutes genuinely matter.
  • If your dressing is cold from the fridge, the contrast with warm chicken is wonderful, but let it sit out for a few minutes if you prefer everything closer to the same temperature.
03 -
  • Pound your chicken breasts to an even thickness before grilling so they cook uniformly and don't dry out on the edges before the center is done.
  • Toast your tortillas briefly on the grill or in a dry pan before assembling—it adds a subtle flavor and makes them less likely to tear when you roll.
