# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

→ Filling

02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 2 teaspoons dried parsley)
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Decoration

10 - 16 grape tomatoes or small cherry tomatoes
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
04 - Brush each dough triangle lightly with the butter-herb mixture. Evenly sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over each.
05 - Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, forming a crescent shape.
06 - Arrange the crescents on the prepared baking sheet in a triangular shape: place one roll at the top, followed by rows of two, three, four, and five rolls respectively. Position remaining crescents beneath the tree shape to form the trunk.
07 - Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
08 - Remove from oven and brush with remaining butter-herb mixture while still warm. Garnish with grape tomatoes as ornaments and sprinkle additional parsley if desired.
09 - Serve warm as an appetizer or festive snack.
