Simplified Baked Feta Tomato Pasta (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 2 cups cherry tomatoes
02 - 1 block (7 oz) feta cheese
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

06 - 12 oz pasta such as penne or fusilli
07 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange feta cheese in the center of a baking dish and surround with cherry tomatoes.
02 - Drizzle olive oil over feta and tomatoes. Sprinkle with minced garlic and dried oregano. Bake for 25 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta softens.
03 - While the feta and tomatoes bake, cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
04 - Mash the baked feta and tomatoes with a spoon to create a creamy sauce. Add the drained pasta and gently toss to evenly coat.
05 - Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh basil if desired.
