# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
02 - Cut each slice of bacon in half crosswise to create 24 shorter strips.
03 - Wrap each cocktail smokie with a half bacon strip and secure with a toothpick.
04 - Place wrapped smokies on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, seam side down.
05 - Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over each bacon-wrapped smokie.
06 - Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until bacon is crisp and sugar is melted and caramelized.
07 - Let cool for 5 minutes before serving as sugar will be very hot.
