Bacon-Wrapped Dates Goat Cheese (Printable Version)

01 - 16 large Medjool dates, pitted
02 - 4 oz fresh goat cheese (chèvre)
03 - 8 slices thin-cut bacon, halved crosswise

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Make a lengthwise slit in each date and remove the pit if not already done.
03 - Fill each date with approximately 1 teaspoon of goat cheese, pressing gently to enclose the filling.
04 - Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon, securing the ends underneath or with a toothpick if necessary.
05 - Place the wrapped dates seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Bake for 18–22 minutes, turning once halfway through until the bacon is crisp and browned.
07 - Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
