Baby Bloom Fruit Platter (Printable Version)

Vibrant fresh fruit arranged in floral style, served with a creamy honey-yogurt dip.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fresh Fruit

01 - 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
02 - 1 cup blueberries
03 - 1 cup seedless green grapes, halved
04 - 1 cup pineapple, cut into flower shapes or chunks
05 - 1 cup kiwi, peeled and sliced
06 - 1 cup cantaloupe, scooped into balls or cubed
07 - 1 cup watermelon, scooped into balls or cut into flower shapes

→ Yogurt Dip

08 - 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
09 - 2 tablespoons honey
10 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
11 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
12 - Zest of 1/2 lemon, optional

# Directions:

01 - Wash all fruit thoroughly. Arrange on a large platter in a floral blooming pattern, grouping by color and shape to resemble flower petals and leaves. Place grapes or blueberries in the center as flower centers.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth and creamy.
03 - Place yogurt dip in a bowl positioned in the center or alongside the fruit platter. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • Zero cooking means you can prep it while half-awake and still feel accomplished.
  • The yogurt dip tastes so much better than it has any right to taste given you're literally just stirring five ingredients together.
  • It works for literally any gathering, from baby showers to unexpected weeknight guests, with the same elegant vibe.
  • The fruit can be whatever looks good at your market that day, so there's built-in flexibility.
02 -
  • Cut your fruit no more than a few hours ahead or it starts to oxidize and look tired, which defeats the entire purpose of a fresh platter.
  • Make the yogurt dip at least 30 minutes before serving so the flavors meld and it tastes like something intentional rather than just yogurt with stuff stirred in.
03 -
  • Pat your fruit completely dry before arranging, because any moisture on the surface makes the platter look dull instead of glistening and fresh.
  • Make your yogurt dip a day ahead if you can, because it actually tastes better when the flavors have had time to get to know each other.
