01 - Arrange two slices of bread on a flat surface, then top each with a slice of cheddar cheese, an even layer of crumbled bacon, and thin apple slices. Place another slice of cheddar on top, then close the sandwiches with the remaining bread slices. Spread butter evenly on the outer sides of each sandwich.
02 - Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Place the prepared sandwiches in the skillet and grill for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, pressing gently, until the bread develops a golden crust and the cheese melts.
03 - Transfer sandwiches to a cutting board. Slice in half and serve while hot.
